Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 2026 · Effective Immediately
1. Zero Media Data Upload & Storage
Remove Gemini Watermark processes images and videos in your browser. Image decoding, watermark removal, video frame processing, and file downloads run on your device through browser media APIs.
Your media files (including photos, screenshots, and videos) are never transmitted to, processed on, or stored on our external servers. We have zero technical capability to view, catalog, analyze, or train AI models on your private creative content.
2. Account & Anonymous Usage Data
To provide free daily processing quotas and manage paid subscriptions, we collect minimal operational information:
- Anonymous Visitors: We maintain a random first-party visitor identifier to measure unique visitors, daily pageviews, and daily free usage counts (resetting every 24 hours at 00:00 UTC). We store the identifier, UTC date, and visited path without linking it to a personal identity or IP address.
- Registered Users: If you sign in via Google OAuth or Email OTP, we store your email address and authentication timestamp to sync your daily quota (5 free images) and subscription tier. We also store the country and region derived from IP-based geolocation metadata supplied by Cloudflare when you sign in or use an authenticated feature. We do not store the raw IP address.
- Pro Subscribers: We store your active subscription status, plan duration, and customer ID. We do not store raw credit card numbers or billing addresses; all payments are processed securely by Stripe.
3. Third-Party Services & Payment Processors
We partner with industry-leading infrastructure and payment providers who adhere to strict data security standards:
- Stripe Inc.: Handles all checkout transactions, credit card processing, and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment data.
- Cloudflare Inc.: Provides global edge caching, DDoS protection, and SSL/TLS encrypted traffic delivery.
- Google Identity Services: Provides optional 1-click Google OAuth authentication.
- Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity: Help us understand page visits and product interactions through website usage analytics and session insights. These services do not receive or process the image and video files handled by the browser cleaner.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use lightweight browser LocalStorage and essential session cookies to maintain your login session, local usage counters, and an anonymous visitor identifier for first-party traffic measurement. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits, diagnose usability issues, and understand product interactions. These analytics signals are separate from your media files, which remain in the browser during cleaning. We do not sell your personal data to data brokers.
Our Chrome extension reads only the Remove Gemini Watermark session cookie on our API domain to synchronize your website sign-in and Pro entitlement. It does not read browsing history, inspect other websites, or upload the image and video files you select. Extension payments and account management continue on remove-geminiwatermark.com.
5. Data Subject Rights & Contact
Under GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy regulations, you have the right to request the access, rectification, or complete deletion of your account records. To exercise these rights or ask any privacy-related questions, contact our Data Protection Officer:
